DealHive is a community-curated deals board for Australian shoppers. Anyone can post a deal they've found; the community upvotes the ones worth your attention.
How it works
- Submit: Share the URL, price, and a quick description. Submissions are reviewed before going live.
- Vote: Up or down. Your votes help shape what appears under the Popular tab.
- Discover: Browse by category, tag, or sort (Popular, New, Top, Big Discount).
- Report: Spotted a stale deal? One click marks it expired (verified by the original poster or three other users).
- Alert: Get notified when new deals match the keywords you care about.
Clean links
Every user-submitted URL gets stripped of tracking parameters (utm_, ref=, tag=, gclid, fbclid…) and link shorteners (bit.ly, amzn.to, etc.) are rejected. Two exceptions: deals published from automated sources keep the source's URL as-is, and deals carrying a labelled commission link route through our affiliate URL. Affiliate status never affects how a deal ranks; the full detail is in the affiliate disclosure.
How a deal makes the Popular feed
A deal becomes Popular when it crosses any of a few quality bars: enough net upvotes, enough clicks, enough comments, a meaningful discount, or hand-picked by an admin. Once a deal makes it, it sits on the Popular page newest-first and drifts down naturally as fresh deals graduate in.
